STOP ASKING FOR MORE SIGNS

Sometimes the Answer Is Already in Front of You

One of the most common things I see on the spiritual path is people asking Spirit (Source, All, The Most High, Ancestors…God etc) for more signs when Spirit has already spoken.

They want another reading. Another dream interpretation. Another confirmation. Another candle. Another ritual. Another message from the ancestors.

But sometimes the issue is not a lack of guidance. The issue is a lack of action.

Many of us have become collectors of spiritual information while remaining hesitant to apply spiritual wisdom.

We ask for answers that we have already received. We seek direction for roads we have already been shown. We pray for doors that have already been opened.

The truth is that Spirit often speaks clearly. The challenge is that what Spirit says is not always what we want to hear.

Sometimes Spirit says: "Leave."

Sometimes Spirit says: "Stay and learn."

Sometimes Spirit says: "Be patient."

Sometimes Spirit says: "Stop waiting and move."

Sometimes Spirit says: "You already know."

And that last one is the one many people struggle with. Because if you already know, then responsibility shifts back to you. Just say OUCH if I stepped on your toes.

You can no longer blame confusion. You can no longer blame uncertainty. You can no longer blame the lack of a sign.

At that point, the work becomes implementation.

Wisdom is not measured by how many readings you receive. Wisdom is measured by what you do with what you have already been shown.

A mature spiritual practice is not built upon endless seeking. It is built upon application. The ancestors can point toward the river, but you must drink. Spirit can illuminate the path, but you must walk it. Prayer can open the door, but you must step through it.

There comes a moment when growth requires less asking and more doing.

Less collecting and more applying. Less searching and more trusting. So before you ask for another sign today, pause for a moment.

Ask yourself:

What have I already been shown that I have not acted upon?

What truth have I been avoiding because it requires change?

What blessing is waiting on the other side of my obedience?

You may discover that the answer you've been seeking has been sitting quietly beside you all along.

The ancestors have spoken. Spirit has spoken.

Now the question becomes: Will you listen?
